A trip to the homeland is always of historical interest regarding my years as a photographer. The living room, bedrooms, hallway, porch and downstairs loo (see below) of my parents home is awash with Doyle landscapes. This one was made in 2000 (always good to date the work) and was made around the Solway Coast area (always good to state where it is on the print). It's a delicious print, warm and luscious, made in a time when I was a Billy Wizz in the darkroom. Maybe a white frame would of been better, or a white wall as apposed to the flowery nonsense that tortured my youth..
