I have always been a quiet fan of Mark Power
and would have to rate him as one of the finest photographers this country has to offer. His work is right on the button, his books are on my shelf and his writings on photography are superb. He even teaches photography and shares his thoughts and opinions (wonder if he has a blog). I was going to pose as a student and pick his brains, but I wouldn't fool anyone....
He is like one of the big American photographers I have so often mentioned, but he is here among us....
My favorite body of work has to be the documentation of the Millennium Dome, but its hard to pick a favorite as its all so wonderfully done.
