New Book. The Photographers Cookbook (Really).

Daft idea. Pants even. All you need to know here..

I never liked those snapshot style images of food..  It just makes what is probably delicious look rather horrid..

What to do..

Two Mirrors, Switzerland 2002

The past couple of weeks of 'clearing up and sorting out' has certainly been a time of reflection.
I have spent years making images, putting them in portfolios, scanning them for websites and all that stuff. But during these processes, so many images are boxed up and forgotten about, only to be rediscovered later. It can be a wonderful thing, especially when the print (in this case) is as prestine as the day it was made. But it can also be very frustrating knowning what to do with it. Should it go back in the box, should it be displayed, or should it just forgotten about altogether...

Photo London 2016

I loved Photo London last year. It reminded me of the first time I exhibited at Paris Photo back in 2004 (or was it 2005?). The thing I like most about this one is that all the little rooms break up the crowds and you never know whats around the corner, (unless you follow the programme..)

This year looks to be a a splendid affair. Lets hope it continues..
